I haven't been sick in years. Well, I get a cold now and then but nothing that would keep me from work... Until this season, I got the flu in early October. Then I had a sinus infection. Then I had a allergic drug interaction. It was a bad week. I always said it was because of the flu shot I get every year. I haven't gotten the flu shot yet because I was scheduled to get it the week I was sick.

I do wonder what will happen when we have kids. I'm sure our kids will catch something from daycare and give it to us.

I used to get sick more often when I was in school, but now I seem to only get sick about once a year (knock on wood). I originally thought my hubs had the stronger immune system, but now he gets sick more often than me! So I don't know what happened, haha.

I typically only get sick once every two years or so. The exception being when I was student teaching with 4-5 year olds and I was sick the entire time it seemed.

I don't get sick often. My last major-out-of-work sickness was 2 years ago. I got a cold that turned into a lung infection that lasted 3 months. Good times!

I don't get sick often (knock on wood) and when I come down with a cold, I'm usually able to sweat it out after a long nap/sleep. DH on the other hand has a weak immune system, he used to get 3-4 colds per winter season. The last year or so, he's regimented his vitamin intake and last winter he got by without getting a cold at all (knock on wood).

I am prone to nausea and migraines, so I'm bracing myself for morning sickness & etc. with pregnancy.

not really. usually once a year. maybe twice. i think i read somewhere that the typical adult gets sick 3 times a year.

YES!!!! Every since Mavi's been in daycare I've been sick just like him every 3 weeks to 1 month. Nothing crazy, just annoying.

I don't get sick often but when I do, I'm REALLY sick. The hubs is a wimp when it comes to sickness - he thinks a cold is considered to be a serious illness. Is it just me or are men babies when they're not feeling weel?

If someone within a ten mile radius of me has anything I will inevitably catch it. I have a really, really weak immune system and was actually in an outpatient hospital setting for two weeks in high school while they ran a bunch of tests. They never came to a consensus of why I get sick so much. Luckily, it's improved as I've gotten older. Husband has a rock solid immune system though...except for during vacations. He is never, ever sick until we have some fun vacation planned (like our trip to Alaska this past summer where he actually contemplated staying at the hotel and sleeping while the rest of went on our glacier cruise. Luckily, I convinced him to come and being in the cool, fresh air actually helped him feel a bit better. And the scenery didn't exactly make him miserable).

I will say no, but I don't want to jinx myself! I have gotten sick more since the LO started day care since she brings home the most germs.

I get sick maybe once a year. I'm more susceptible to illness when I'm sleep deprived. Husband hardly ever gets sick.

My immune system is simply feeble. Meanwhile, Mrs. Bee has an immune system of iron! She once caught something from me that had laid me out for two weeks. She had it for two days, and then promptly gave it back to me and of course it laid me out for another two weeks.

I hope that our kids have her immune system, and not mine!

Do you get sick often? What about your SO?
