She would tell us what to make and they turned out really well! Then she hung them on the tree. (We got a 3.5 foot tree in a planter from a farm, just her size.) She had us make stars, hearts, lightning bolts, clouds, a dog paw, and broccoli! Wore them for the winter and then I cut them so he could wear for the summer and he wore them for another season after that - haha - he was obsessed! My mom got us ornaments every year when we were kids and we are following the tradition with our daughter. Every year it has been based on her interests or what the theme of the year was. Year 1 was a "My First" ornament. Year 2 was a ladybug for her first birthday party that was ladybug themed. Year 3 was Anna (no explanation needed).
