My teeth suck and develop plaque really fast even with flossing and all that jazz, and I had to have a deep scaling (descaling??)-- where they numb you up and dig all the gunk out from under your gums-- it's as pleasant as it sounds. But because I had to have that, I get 4 cleanings a year and just have to pay for part of two of them, the other two remain totally free. But I hate going to the dentist so much.
