We did a large one for our wedding to the Canadian Diabetes Association because my dad and our best man have diabetes. We also do a lot of food bank stuff and toy drives around this time of year. DH gets really upset when he thinks about kids not having presents at Christmas, so he goes overboard. Very sweet of him. We also give to heifer international (really cool organization), Kiva, habitat for humanity, donors choose (to fund public school teacher projects). Sometimes we give to planned parenthood, ACLU, and Equality... And then we give to our favorite political organizations, but that's not tax deductible. Every year we pick an address and send an annonymous Christmas card with money. My husband has his own company and if they call him and get him in on the right day, he will always donate.
