@autumnlove: We thought it was great our LO was drinking, but then he kept vomiting and was clearly getting a bit dehydrated. We called in a spoke to a nurse that said their little tummies can only handle small amounts at a time and as soon as we used her trick he stopped vomiting. We didn't realize we were making it worse by letting him drink so much. :/

@Boogs: We had a friend give us a "you won't know you need it until you need it" type box when we were pregnant and that was one of the things in it. It's been a lifesaver on more than one occasion.

@autumnlove: :( Was it a lot of water thank she drank? Try just a couple small sips at a time, then wait a few minutes and see how it goes.

The trick we learned with vomiting is to only give very small amounts of liquid (breastmilk, water, pedialyte, whatever you want) at a time to not further upset LO's stomach. We literally would have to do 2 or 3 small sips, wait a few minutes, repeat. Hope LO gets better soon. :(

Grandma's!

I think nursing is enough too so long as she has wet diapers.
Hope she feels better soon!

I would just continue to nurse. If she isn't wetting diapers or the inside of her lip is dry, then try diluting some pedialyte.

i think nursing is enough! poor thing :( :(

LO was sick when she was around 3.5-4 months - but not from dairy - but pedi told me to just keep nursing.

Is nursing enough? Should I offer water, juice or Pedialyte?
