It depends how close we are to them, but gifts can be small or a bit more generous sometimes. For an example of a small gift, I just got a few little things from Target and placed them all in a gift bag: holiday coloring book set with crayons &amp; stickers, a holiday straw cup, and toddler socks. Toys aren't too expensive either. I had to stop because it got to be too much of a burden on my budget and I don't like feeling stressed out. If it's in your budget though, the kids would be so happy to get a gift. I would still get a gift for those with only 1 or 2 LO but 3 of my dearest friends have 4 kids each. I think a gift basket to the family is great if you are seeing them right before the holidays.</p> <p>I wanted to add that what I do is give a gift to the mom (my friends) instead of the LO. When I was there last month, I bought and wrapped gifts for her 3 kids. From us, her oldest (almost 5) is getting this moving/talking Minion thing, and a Minion "fart blaster" gun! lol And the twins (1.5) are getting different versions of basically the same toy. Perhaps I should note that if I wasn't seeing them so close to the holidays, I wouldn't go out of my way to get a gift, but since I am seeing them a week before Christmas, just wondering if I should. What would you do in this situation? I do plan on bringing baked goods for the family. I just hate stressing over gift giving! And, seems that it could get expensive/stressful in the future with more LOs. But, I'd feel kinda bad if they got a gift for DS though. =P</p> <p>So, do you give gifts to your friend's LOs?
