@Andrea: LOL! Same! I was really insistent on the 2 gummy rule. He's tried to get more out of me but I hold my ground! And he's pretty clever with his excuses ("I only had the red and yellow one. The orange one is sad!"). Uhh yeah... Good try, buddy.

Lil Critters as well at 2. I made sure to tell her the 2 gummy rule from the first time so she's never asked for more.

My son eats lil critteres gummies too. He knows that he's allowed only TWO and only after he finishes his dinner. He sees it as dessert. He asks for more but doesn't beg for it. I usually will offer him 2 gummies in addition to something else for dessert, usually fruit or a veggie smoothie. It kind of distracts him away from the gummies.

LO eats the L'il Critters Gummy Vitamins. I can tell he treats it like candy, but he knows that he is only allowed two at lunch time. He never asks for more.

I bought the Flintstones gummies and I didn't end up giving them to my son because I felt they were too sticky, and that he wouldn't be able to chew them properly.

My son is extremely picky, so he really needs a multivitamin, so we'll get a rec from the nutritionist.

eta: he doesn't know that other gummies are candy, so I don't think it would be an issue.

I just picked up, for the first time, some toddler gummy multivitamins for DD, who is 2 years old.

I haven't tasted the gummy yet but was wondering if you ran into issues with your kids thinking it was candy and wanting more. What do you say to them? When do you give it to them?
