The managers and several of the servers know us, LO and even our dog (we're able to take her in the summer when we can sit on the patio). Since LO arrived we haven't gone nearly as much as prior to LO but it is still a regular fallback for when we want to go out and grab a bite or DH wants to grab a beer (I can't since pregnant with #2). We were also regulars at this diner for a while - we always met there after work before going for drinks. Now we're regulars at certain restaurants. I have always liked that, they even ask if you want the "usual." (However in a town my size, the usual is the kind of beer about 90% of us drink!) In college I was a regular at a bar, where I didn't have to show my ID to get in the door, all the bartenders knew me, ect. which was kind of nice! The bartender had been his college roommate, so he usually hooked us up. We got to know the owner and waitstaff. Sean always knew what we wanted the second we walked in the door.
