I volunteer in the Nursery 1-2 Sundays a month, and Hubs runs our powerpoints for the main service about 1/2 the time. He also volunteers with the kids group on Wednesdays, acting as whatever character is needed. When I did mission trips in high school, it was mandatory for us to read his books. Very cool!!</p> <p>and yeah, I totally hear ya on the germs/sickness. I have felt that way especially now, LO was born in February and the week he was born, all my friends were sick and couldn't come visit. I made sure he was attached to me anytime we went out.</p> <p>My friend's church has a room at the back of the sanctuary that is glass, so she can still watch the service and there is an audio feed there. It is a moms/nursing lounge. The nursery room is always so loud and full of moms chit chatting (I admit I'm sometimes one of them) that it's hard to even hear anything the pastor is saying. But it's good for us to attend every Sunday anyway. I watch broadcasts online to make up for it. Every summer I attend a huge week long Believer's Convention in Ft. Worth with my family. It is one of my favorite times a year. The weeks we didn't go, we just ended up watching a live broadcast of the service online. I even met my husband there :) I used to go as often as I could, but now it's too hard with LO. Which is ironic because now that we have her we actually belong and pay dues. I'm sure we'll make up for it when she grows up and starts going to preschool, sunday school, hebrew school, etc. I remember feeling like I lived at temple when I was younger! </p>
