The selection is pretty good and they make it really easy to request books from other libraries. I live in a small town and the library is definitely one of those places that adds to the sense of community. I haven’t gone there in ages! I remember growing up though my mom would ALWAYS take us to the library and we were allowed to rent out 2-3 books at a time. Depending on our age (I’m remembering there when I was like middle school age) I could get 1 “fun” book (like an origami book, or an arts and crafts book), 1 book for pleasure (The Babysitters Club), and 1 challenging book (as in a chapter book the next level up). Once I read or tried to read the challenging one, we could go and get new books!</p> <p>So my husband and I are getting ready for a trip up to MN, and it’s a 10 hour drive each way. DH doesn’t read and he will most llikely be driving the whole way (we’re taking his car and I don’t know how to drive manual!). So I suggest we get an audio book for the trip! I looked on iTunes, and they are like 10-15 bucks for one! So I’m going to go to the library and rent one!!</p> <p>Do you utilize your public library? </p>
