My employers should know better than to request or expect me to work when I'm sick.</p> <p>On the other hand, relatively narrow staffing margins mean that there's a chance patients could be cancelled any day that I'm sick -- sometimes for time sensitive services.</p> <p>I also get nervous about repercussions from administration for taking "too much" sick leave.
