We all grew up together since we were 12 years old and hang out usually monthly (go out to dinner, watch a movie, or concert). We're all SO different but growing up together made us all have that in common. We always talk about whether we would all be best friends if we met now (vs. when we were 12 years old). And we agreed that we probably wouldn't because we're all so different. It's amazing what history can do for friendships. At some point in our lives, one of us has fought with another and lost touch. But we always end up gettting back together. We've fought about boys, family, money, boys and more boys (ugh...those boys!). I always had a few close friends, but I seemed to always be more "attached" to the friendships than the other girls, which left me feeling hurt. I'm the first of my friends from high school to get married, so I often feel like we can't relate to each other as much anymore.</p> <p>However, about a year and a half ago I met a girl and we just clicked. She married one of DH's cousins and we are very close. Last weekend, she called me to tell me she was pregnant!! She has been TTC since her wedding this summer! Funny thing is that after I started dating DH I came to realize that DH and her are very similar. They have the same mannerisms and interests, we always joked that I found a male version of her.
