I had one growing up so I'm used to it. DH wasn't on board at first, but now he loves it. We just don't have time to clean. We're always running around on the weekends and I have no energy to do anything after work. My mom always did. I used to do the cleaning but it was pretty rough on me because chemical smells give me migraines, and DH never trusted that natural cleaning supplies actually clean. When my LO came my grandma gifted me a cleaning lady, and when my grandma passed away my mom took over paying for her. She's the same one that my mom has. We started a few months back after I had already been back at work a few months and we had a good gauge on things. We were spending half a day on the weekend cleaning, with one of us watching the baby and the other cleaning. It took a good chunk out of our weekend and I felt we were just keeping up with the bare minimum. We now use a service every other week and they do everything (baseboards, ceiling fans, wash hardwood floors by hand).
