i would love to have a day bed in the nursery, If we end up having 2 kids while we live in our current house they will probably have to share a room for some time. plus i imagine it would be helpful for BFing and difficult nights for me to sleep there instead of waking up the whole house

Yes we do! We didn't have a rocker though so when he was younger I was using it to BF. Now we use it for stories and snuggles. We actually recently took the bed base out and just left the mattress on the floor because we want to transition LO to that bed before Baby Brother arrives.

That's a great idea. I'd do that if I had room.

Crib is in master bedroom.

We don't have nursery yet, but I'd like to have a bed in the nursery for guests in the beginning. I'm thinking we will be moving to a 2 bedroom, so while the baby is in a bassinet in our room, our moms can sleep in the nursery bed when they visit. But I don't know if the room will be big enough, since we haven't really started looking for a new place.

No, her room is way too small. She will most likely be in her crib another 2 or more years, so I will worry about that closer to the transition.

Nope, her room isn't big enough to fit a bed and all her other furniture.

We do, but we're about to move it out. I originally thought that we would use it a lot, but it's turned into a place to pile stuff. I'd rather use the floor space to play at this point.

I want to put a twin bed (or maybe just a floor bed) in LO's room along with her crib. We don't plan on moving her to the bed until she is 20 months...when baby 2 is 4 months old.

I figure we can snuggle in there and read stories and get her used to the bed.
