We don't have an issue with overspray and we wring out the diapers after we spray them down so no drips when we carry themto the pail. It isn't like we don't wash our hands either way so wringing out the sprayed diapers isn't a big deal. (He's 8 months and is on a variety of formula, breastmilk, and babyfood.) When he does have a PB-type poo, I just wipe it with a wipe and then stick it in the washer. They come out clean - cold pre-wash, hot wash, cold rinse with tide original. It's pretty nice with a super messy diaper but some are easy enough without it. Before I would hose down my LO's diapers outside, and the hose worked great. The spray isn't super powerful, and I do get splashed from time to time. We have a diaper sprayer, and it works fine, but the potty pail looks like it addresses the two things I don't love about the diaper sprayer - namely, having to bend over a lot to keep the spray in the toilet and the relative shallowness of the toilet bowl. I didn't look at the price of the potty pail. If it's slightly more expensive than just a sprayer, it might be worth it, but not if it's significantly more expensive. Also, it looks like it would be a pain to store between uses...</p> <p>@MsMamaBear: What a good idea!
