I also started writing when he is at school vs. when my dad or FIL is watching him so that we can all be in the know on where he is on what day. I write all of our appointments on there and events that we have going on. The cute chalkboard wall decals that you see on Pinterest ended up peeling paint off the wall and you couldn't see the chalk that well. Regular calendars ended up being too small to see from a distance. </p> <p>I just bought a huge dry erase calendar last week from Paper Source. We also have a chalkboard wall in our entryway so we can write notes in big letters. It hangs on a bulletin board and we keep our few bills that aren't auto-paid etc up there. DH needs a paper calendar for some reason. On top of appointments/plans, we also list chores that need done and what is on the menu for dinner. We sit down on Sunday morning and plan out our week. We also have a wall calendar for longer term plans. I like the idea of the command center type deals with a marker board calendar (or similar) and maybe a chalkboard or something to write notes. </p> <p>Does anyone have anything like this? Does it work out well, or do you have a better idea for me? :) </p>
