Personal referrals from friends and family are the way to go! Maybe ask your parents if they use someone? We don't have kids, both have straightforward jobs (taxes are simple), invest in our 401Ks, we both have Roth IRAs, limited debt (mortgage) so we are sitting in a decent position. He manages an investment account, a traditional IRA and Roth IRA. I figured if I had to pay for them (since I no longer worked for those companies), I should have them in a single location and have a cohesive investment strategy.
