I do this, too. And often I will plug in titles of books my reluctant read-ee actually likes into Amazon to see what other titles pop up when we need ideas of new ones to try. Or I look for (librarian) generated lists of "if you like x, then you might like..." to do the same for my oldest and my youngest. This frees me up to be all, "oooh, shiny!" at the library, which is what I do best. And baby and I can just have fun looking and exploring with no pressure. All we have to do is swing in and pick up!
