My reasoning, a girl can help out more, especially for baby #2! I've seen this work out well with my friends babies.</p> <p>Hubby wants a boy first bc 1) he wants the second kid (preferably a girl) to have an older brother to "do some work/watch over" the younger one; and 2) he's heard boys develop slower than girls so he doesn't want to be frustrated by his slower development compared to his older sister. Then I had found out i was having twins. I did hope they were girls since we had a boy already. My twins developed twin to twin transfer and there was only a 60 percent chance for one and 80 percent for thd other so when they told me they were boys I didn't mind. All I could care about was their survival. During mt second pregnancy I definetly wanted my girl and so did my husband. Obviously we would love and adore whatever we got but we were hoping. We got our girl and were both very excited so now I have my little girl with her three older brothers. </p> <p>I was on team green through our adoption because it wasn't really my choice. With my pregnancies I found out because I just couldn't wait. We'd be happy with all girls or girls &amp; boys, so I think we both feel like if we get our girl first, then we can just be pleasantly surprised with whatever the rest of our kids turn out to be!
