I’ll take the day off. Should we keep her home from school????” and I was just like “ummmm, she says that every day you know. She just would rather stay home and watch movies all day on the sofa than go to school”. Ooooooohhhhhh, he says, surprised! </p> <p>Or at dinner, LO will only eat the fruit on her plate. DH doesn’t push her, whereas I’m all “okay, now you have to take 2 bites of (whatever) before you can have more fruit” or she’ll want to go play with her toys during dinner, and DH will of course just let her, whereas I’m all “take 5 bites first and then we’ll talk about playing” (basically, make her finish dinner first). I feel like I'm always the "bad cop"; DH definitely let's LO run on a longer leash than I do! I really don't want to be, but he's the fun guy and I'm the rule enforcer. (he will discipline when necessary but I think LO doesn't take him as serious as she does me.) </p>
