No, ours is front loading but not HE. DH keeps wanting to upgrade ours, but I keep saying they work perfectly fine and we should save our $$!

@mrs. bird: I feel guilty cause our laundry room doesn't do them justice. We got the high end big load machines cause DH wants a lot of kids and I want to do cloth diapers.

@Sugar.Biscuit: those are some sexy laundry machines!! Jealous!

We have a HE stacking set. The cat supervises the washing threw the window in the front :P they got nasty once. I bought cleaner for them & try to leave the door open after using it & we haven't had any issues since then.

I LOVE our HE front loaders. They do such an awesome job keeping everything clean. I love the steam option in the washer and dryer. I also love that mine has LED lights in the fins in the washer and dryer, it is like a light show in there when they are running!

Never mind the fact that our laundry room is in the dungeon...We have the king size Samsung & I love them! The steam option is awesome for the clothes that get left over in the dryer over night. It cuts our laundry time in half & we saved $20 a month on our utility bills after we got them!

We have a HE set with a top load washer. I love them! Ours also have a clean setting but we haven't had to use it yet. The only thing I don't like is the lint filter in the dryer.

@JerricaBenton: I know all about limited space!! My washer and dryer face each other in the lil laundry nook that's only fit for the washer and dryer. The two doors overlap on top of each other if I have them both open to move things from the washer to the dryer. The layout kind of works out nicely, but I hate being so cramped in there!

Yes! I like it because I am kind of short and I don't have to lean all the way over the top to get everything. AND nothing gets stuck or tangled in the center thing like it did on our old top-load!
I've never had any mold or mildew scent issues, but I always make sure the water has drained all the way through the holes in the rubber ring thing and leave the door open for a little bit after it's been run.

We have the washers in my building and I find them annoying. Like @JerricaBenton: said, it's so hard to get things in and out. What is the benefit vs. top load? And it does get a building around the door, but then again, it's a bunch of people in the building using them, so probably if you have your own you take better care.

@Alivoo01: I do but our laundry room is small so I usually only leave it open a crack. That's a good point though, I'll try to remember to leave it all the way open :)

@JerricaBenton: Do you leave your door open after each wash cycle? If not, this could be the reason for your mildewy scent, and the mold buildup around your rubber ring. I leave ours open to let everything air dry. Sometimes, a quick 10-20 minutes does the trick!

We do and I love them! It was annoying when I was pregnant though, I couldn't bend over far enough to get the clothes out of the back of the washer and into the dryer. I really want stands for them but can't see paying that much for the matching ones.

@Alivoo01: I can't even see in there but one time everything had a mildew smell so now I use the washer wash (seems wrong!) once every few weeks. Maybe I'll try the baking soda and vinegar though. Also mine has a rubber ring around the opening that water gets stuck in and if I don't clean it out it gets moldy. And the little detergent drawer gets water in it and has to be wiped out basically after every use. It just seems like A LOT more work than a standard washer.

I think our HE washer works great - I do sit on the floor to transfer laundry, but I have plans to build some plywood bases down the line, which should help. My major complaint is that the shortest cycle is 45 minutes, and an average cycle is 60 minutes.

@JerricaBenton: How does it get dirty? Like a ring build up around the tub? Mine has a "clean washer" detector that lights up after so many cycles or detects dirt build up. I put in some baking soda and vinegar into the wash and it smells fresh and clean again. For the ring build up due to lint around the glass part of the door, I just take a Clorox wipe and do a quick wipe down.

I love our HE washer and dryer, but the dryer seems to take forever. We think its the hose being compressed back there since our home is older and space is non-existent pretty much.

We do and I hate them. I hate front load because I have to basically sit on the floor to get everything in an out. The washer gets gross and I have to buy that special cleaner for it. Next time I just want the old kind.

Not sure how I feel about them, but they seem to get the job done.

Sometimes I wanna just sit in front of it and see how it works, but who has the time to do that?! :P :)
