Nope. We might have to soon though. It seems that there's only ONE internet provider in this very rural area that we recently moved to and in order to get internet, you have to also have a home phone line.

Nope, just cell phones. Although that's a good point about not always picking up your cell if it's in another room. I'm really good about leaving my ringer on and always picking up, but DH isn't.

We both have cell phones right now. We've talked about it and we'll probably break down and get one when LO starts school.

We don't - the hubs and I have our own cell phones. But once I go back to work, we'll get a home phone line for emergencies and such.

Nope, just cell phones. Where we live you can register your cell phones with reverse 911 for emergencies, so no real need for home phone. We also use Skype at least once a week with each of Cam's grandmas.

We don’t and haven’t had a home phone for 5-6 years (and I’ve never had a home phone, since moving out from my parent’s house). Just our 2 cell phones. We previously had a house phone that was bundled with the cable, but since it was provided over the cable line and not a dedicated phone line, if the power or cable went out, so did the phone. So, it was basically useless for emergencies.

Just cell phones. We had a phone with Vonage for a while which I loved, because I hate talking on the phone, but I don't seem to mind a regular phone. I hate a hot, small cell phone held up to your ear and I don't have great hearing, so a headset never works well for me. But we didn't use it enough to justify the expense so we got rid of it.

We sort of do. We got this phone system that hooks up to your cell phone's bluetooth. As long as you have bluetooth on and you're in range, the home phone will ring when your cell phone rings. We got it because my husband refuses to turn his darn ringer on (forgets and never remembers...aka refuses) so now when his phone rings, we know it.

We may get a home line added at some point when our LO is a bit older but for now, it's cell phones only.

I got rid of our home phone because it seems that the only calls we would get would be from telemarketers.

We don't, we just have our cell phones. We might get one when LO gets a little older if we don't want to give her a cell phone.... if they're even still around then!

We didn't have a home phone for awhile since we had our cell phones, but we do have one now because our cell phone reception is spotty at home. Now that we have kids, it's also great to have a home phone in case of emergency because we hear that no matter what, whereas we often miss calls on our cell phone if it's in another room.

Do you still have a home phone in this day and age?
