He was late pre-term and born in December in New England, so we loved that it kept him so warm and snugly when he had zero fat to keep him warm. We put it on him in while he slept in the rock n play but wouldn't have used it on him in the crib. I probably wouldn't have bought one for myself but now that I know how much use we got out of it, I probably would (and definitely for $15!!). But they are gifts. I don't think I would have purchased them if I had to pay. They are expensive but they are super soft and has held up pretty well. My daughter carries hers around everywhere.
