But, I guess there is also an english way, which more people tend to write my name as, even though I have never seen it spelled that way in real life, but phonetically is easier to process (Marjorie vs. Margery).<br /> The biggest issue is my nickname. Nickname is usually a shortened form of someone's name, so to me it makes sense that it would be spellled Marj, though most people (including my inlaws) spell is Marge. I'm used to spelling it out and have not been traumatized by it. I do get annoyed when people respond to my work emails (which contain my spelled out first name both in the address and signature) and spell my name wrong. It's 5 letters long, come on!
