But at least it's fenced in for our dog! We have some dirt spots back there that the previous owner used as a "sand box" basically dug the grass out and pour sand over the dirt......wonderful! After four years in our house, we finally put a giant stamped concrete patio in last fall. Then, earlier this month, we had all new sod put in (our grass back there was a disaster thanks to terrible soil). DH built some beautiful planter boxes for either side of the patio and I've filled them with pretty plants, and we have some really lovely mismatched clay pots lining the steps and their filled with a variety of herbs and some more flowers. We have a inground pool and a beautiful willow tree way at the back of our property. We considered demolishing it and just put in a whole new yard but space is just really an issue. In our new home, we practically bought the house because we fell In love with the yard space.
