My mom calls my step dad honey. But she says it differently depending on the issue. There's one for mad, one for joking mad, one for calling him, one for if he burps. Oh man it's really funny. I find that his full name gets his attention better when I'm angry. He doesn't go by his first name since he doesn't care for it.
