Canon photo printer...Really nice quality photos...you do have to adjust the settings (photo paper, high quality, etc)

I have an HP photo printer, nothing BUT photo printer. It works well for me. I do print when Walgreens have the 25 prints for free, but those are fare and few, so I use my printer. I don't send them to anyone, I just like having hard copies as well.

I was just reading reviews on printers! I would love to hear from anyone who uses a Mac and has a printer they like-for photos and other stuff...and doesn't cost an arm and a leg!

@yin: I do select the print option for photo paper. I've tried all sorts of configurations but it just never printed pictures as good as the epson one I used to have. And now it's just gotten worse.

@Mrs. Superhero: Thanks for the input. My old epson one definitely seemed to consistently print better photos than the hp.

@Andrea: Thanks for the rec. I don't need super high quality. Just want to print some photos for the family once in a while.

@TurtleDoves: Thanks! Yup, I miss my old epson printer. It wasn't all in one which is why my husband wanted to replace it. I wish I just kept it as well.

we have the EPSON. Love it! It was highest rated online so I went ahead and ordered it with the photo paper that goes along with it. I LOVE the photos we get. In fact, I printed most of my graduation photos with it ad a friend's shower invites with it. I plan on printing A BUNCH of baby photos with it in the near future. It's a great investment. I think we got ours for under $300 but we save a lot of printing and ours is also a scanner, fax (not that we fax) and normal printer.

I have a Canon. It doesn't print in super high quality but it is good enough to frame. You can't really tell once you have it behind the glass frame.

Epsons are far better photo printers than hp's. I sell art prints and I would only consider Epson or canon. (mine is the R1900, but that's a bit overkill for most households)

I don't have a photo printer and just print via a third party. Sometimes, there are sales and I just make sure to capitalize on it when possible.

I have an Epson all-in-one printer, and you have to make sure you have the right settings in order to print a high quality picture. Sometimes I make the mistake of not selecting the right paper (professional glossy) or not setting the quality to photo.

Every time I'm about to order from one of those online sites, I pull back last minute because I'm like, I have a printer. So I'll spend several hours trying to get it to work right. I need to just give up on it!

I never had one. I just order all my prints from shutterfly or snapfish.

I used to have an epson photo printer that I liked. I was able to print out decent photos with it. Then we replaced it with an all-in-one hp printer. I have not been able to print any quality photos with it. I'm not even looking for frame quality. I just want to send our family some photos. So, I have a photo printer but am still ordering photos from a third party. So annoying.

Do you have a photo printer? How do you like yours?
