Yes!!!!!!!!!

Lo (4) refuses to try anything new. We struggle with him and sometimes (very rarely) he even likes new things he tries. But he eats about 10 things and that's it.

Our baby (1) on the other hand will eat anything so far!

Neither of my kids like to try new things. But I think that's fairly normal developmentally, so I just try to up their exposure. Tonight, I gave the kids these giant chicken filled raviolis I found at our local store--they didn't want to eat them since they were new. But I got my oldest to try them and then she liked them. The youngest filled up on broccoli and meatballs, but I put her raviolis in her lunch for tomorrow. So she'll see them again, haha.

I try to be careful with the words "picky eater," as I know we're lucky compared to a lot of parents out there!

But my kids have never been big eaters and it's been a big source of stress for us over the last 7 years or so!

I wouldn't say they don't like a lot of things, it's more a refusal to try things. They skip all or most of dinner every night, without even trying it.
