I have a special jewelry box for those things anyway. When my fingers shrunk during pregnancy I put it there and put on another one. I guess most men don't have a lot of jewelry, though. I only allow myself to take them off in 2 places: the kitchen and the bathroom, and in each place there is a ring box waiting for it. Otherwise I know i'd just lose track of them. Above the kitchen sink we use the little box our ring bearer carried down the aisle, and in the bathroom I use the orignal box from my engagement ring. I've never really thought about DH needing "a spot" as well @mrbee: so you bring up a good point! However, DH did develop some kind of metal allergy last year and rarely wears his ring or any of his watches anymore since they give him a rash (even his gold-plated watch!) Hubs doesn't either. But next to the sink in the kitchen we have a ring holder that my dad had painted to match our wedding stuff.
