Our documents are spread throughout the house, and we're horrible at keeping it all together. I have taken the step to scan as many of them as possible and make back ups so that I at least have a digital copy somewhere. When it gets full (1TB) then I move it over to our safety deposit box. It would devastate me to lose their baby pictures, our wedding pictures and so forth.
