Seems kind of nice if you want to get a picture of everyone or you and the background. You can take as many of such photos as you want without having to constantly ask someone else to take a photo for you. I was bombarded by people selling them in Europe and I found they were annoying and got in the way. I nearly got hit by someone's. However, at a friend's BBQ a few weeks ago her sister whipped one out to take a picture of all 8 or so of us and I couldn't believe how well it worked. I see why people like them because they are so useful! It is just a shame they look so silly and get in the way so much when out in public... It's awesome.... you can get so much of the background in the picture with you. It's perfect for sightseers or vacationers... you don't have to ask random strangers to take pictures of you.
