Twinkle Twinkle Little Star. I really don't know a lot of lullabies and that was the first one I ever sang to my LO and she seemed to really love it right away. She got this look of wonderment on her face so I've continued singing it to her ever since. The other songs I sing are usually ones I am making up as I go along.

This is silly but I'm a huge fan of the sitcom Big Bang Theory and one of the characters has a song that his mother sang to him whenever he was sick growing up. It goes "Soft kitty, warm kitty, little ball of fur.. Happy Kitty, Sleepy Kitty, Purr Purr Purr" and I sing that all the time to Libby-Jane if she's upset when I'm trying to get her to sleep

As soon as we found out I was pregnant, DH started singing a song to LO that his mom used to sing to him when he was little.
It goes "I love you so much, I love you so much, I can't even tell you how much I love you.."
He didn't know all the words so he made some up. :D
We still sing it to her.

Ever since I found out the gender of my LO and picked her name, I've sung "Everything is Rosie" from Bye Bye Birdie to her. I started when she was in my belly and haven't stopped. If she's upset, it will calm her down 98% of the time, and usually it will bring on a smile :)

Do you have a special song for your LO?
