We don't because of space but I wish we did since I have to pick DD up every time she has to go potty or wash her hands. They have step stools at DD's daycare and she can climb up to the sink and turn on the cold water by herself to wash her hands (needs help with the soap because of where it is located). She also uses one at the water fountain in the hallway but since she doesn't know how to make the water come out she still needs some help with getting a drink.

Yep, we have Ikea step stools in the first floor bathroom and in DD's bathroom, upstairs.

DH picked one up before LO was even born. He got it at a garage sale because it reminded him of one he had when he was a kid, and made me paint it to look like his.

I don't have a toddler yet but I have one for me... I could use a second one too. I have always used them with the toddlers I take care of though, often with a stool they still need help reaching the faucets for awhile but I have never had an issue teaching then only to use cold.

Yes we use an Ikea one, love it. They are so cheap that you can have them everywhere and they do not move around on the floor at all.

I have one but it is so small. We used it as LO's chair for a mini drumset and now she uses it for her play kitchen to reach her microwave on the top. I need a bigger one so she can reach the faucet.

Yes, I got the bjorn step stool for LO when she started walking/climbing. I figured she can use it for general climbing and eventually use it for the potty when she's ready. Right now, she picks it up and takes it to wherever she needs a boost in the kitchen or living room. She hasn't used it for the faucet yet though.

We haven't gotten one for Charlie yet because the water in our apartment is super duper hot!

But I think we could easily teach him to only turn on the cold water. He hates things that are hot.

Do you have a step stool for your LO?
