I keep it closed when we are changing, showering, or bathing. We just open it at night to get air. The full bath by the guest room doesn't have a window.</p> <p>The 1/2 bath with the window is kinda odd because its a normal window. To get sunlight in it, I had to put up a curtain only halfway. But you can literally sit on the toilet, move the curtain and see the yard. Same with the master bath, I have a half curtain to let sun in. It's like block windows though you can't see through them, and up on top is a crank kind of so u can open one and get fresh air in. I only open it though when we take showers to let out the steam.
