Our DS loves to run around and explore our yard. We have an acre, lots of grass, woods, big rocks to climb, 2 raised garden beds, plus a quiet neighborhood street. This is why we bought our house and left the city. We don't have a big yard by most standards, but I prefer a smaller space. Just enough to run around but not so much that maintaining the yard is a burden. Also we're working on minimizing the mosquito population in our backyard. The area we live in is very hilly so most of the houses in our price range did not have a flat rear yard.
