I love having an emergency medical fund when I need it. DH contributes to it and his company matches it, so it's been great for us. I contribute $125/month and my employer contributes the full deductible over the course of the year. It really made sense last year because I used HSA $ for acupuncture, plus wanted to try and save up a cushion in case we needed to pay OOP for infertility treatments. That's why I'm sticking with it. I don't usually have a lot of medical expenses; usually just a few co-pays or prescriptions over the course of a year.
