We have the Cruz and love it. It's lighter than other full size strollers so its easy for me to fold up and take in and out of our car. The basket is plenty big for all my crap. Plus it just looks good. :) We also considered the Vista but decided we did not need the bassinet. DD is a December baby so we weren't planning on taking her out on many strolls in the first few months so no reason to spend more for bassinet. We live in the city so we take it everywhere. We also got an adaptor so we can snap the car seat on at times which is super convenient. No complaints on our Cruz!

I have the cruz and love it!! It's rarely on sale, but my brother got it at 20% off from giggle at their semi-annual sale for us. That made a huge difference price wise

*What do you like about it? The incredible smoothness, the ease of turning, and the huge basket.
*Any dislikes? I wish it could close with the chair facing both directions as LO prefers to face us, but the stroller will only close facing out. Not a big deal though!
*What other strollers did you look at? Why did you eventually choose the Cruz? We were deciding between baby jogger versa since we really wanted a chair that could face both ways. We decided on the cruz because it was lighter.
*Where do you primarily use it (errands, park, city, etc)? We live in the suburbs and mainly use it for neighborhood walks and errands. It's held up great in all the weather we have (we are in a 4-season location)!
*Do you find it difficult to store? Where do you keep it? We keep it in our trunk.
*Anything else I should know? Definitely go stroller shopping if you can, but like I said, we love it!! Highly recommend :)

Ahhhh gear research already???
A friend of mine has my copy of baby bargains. Let me know if you want to peruse it and I'll get it back.

Yes! We have one and it's THE BEST.

what we love- size, weight, how it looks really streamlined, and the basket underneath is the biggest, best basket I've ever seen/used! I get comments on it from other moms all the time! Also it pushes really smoothly!

Dislikes-none!

What other strollers did you look at-none!

What do you use it for-EVERYTHING! From errands to walks in the park to my exercise class (we do light jogging and the UB Cruz works fine!)

Do you find it difficult to store-not at all! We usually just keep it in the trunk of our car.

We use it with the Graco adapter, we have a Snugride carseat and it works/looks great!

I highly recommend it! :-) also we used to live in a dense metro area and it worked great on city streets as well as in our current city which is suburban! We also are in SoCal where the weather is pretty mild all year round....don't have to deal with much inclement weather,

From what I've seen about the Cruz the only thing I would be concerned about is the smaller wheels on snow.

I looooooooove our cruz and would thoroughly recommend it!! I was gifted a pram which we used until DD was about 4 months and then we bought the cruz which is just worlds above. I stopped someone looking at this pram the other day to tell them how great it is.

*What do you like about it? I like how light it is, how easy it steers, how it looks, the big basket, it has a small turning circle, easy to put up and down.
*Any dislikes? The foot bar is difficult to extend, you have to push both buttons at once but need to pull the bar as well. It's not too annoying and it's my only issue.
*What other strollers did you look at? Since we were buying later I looked at the bee and this. Ultimately it just felt nicer to push.
*Where do you primarily use it (errands, park, city, etc)? Walking to the store, in the store, at the park, never had an issue.
*Do you find it difficult to store? We keep it in the boot of the car
*Anything else I should know? The organiser you buy separate is great. I keep my phone and a coin purse in there and have everything handy then.

@LovelyPlum: Do you have stairs to your apartment, or somewhere to store the stroller on the first floor? That was a big consideration for me when looking at strollers and at apartments (at the same time). We have a Vista but leave it in downstairs in the garage. It is a bit wide and the Cruz looks to be a little narrower. I really wanted the bassinet feature, but it turns out my LO doesn't love it anyway :(

@LovelyPlum: interested too :)

I think the only reason I would get the vista is because I know the second seat can be added. Not sure about the Cruz?

I saw the Cruz on How I Met Your Mother last week and got a little stroller envy haha.

I don't know anyone with the Uppa Baby Cruz, but all my friends that have the Vista love it. I believe that, like the Vista, the Cruz will fold up and stand upright. That would make it nice for limited space living. (I live in a small condo and am already worried about space.) My sister is considering a City Select because of all of the different "double" positions it can accomodate. I don't think you can go wrong with either one.

Yes! Love our Cruz! DH was really hesitant because of the price but every time we take it out he talks about how glad he is we got it. We also have the infant insert so we've been using it since birth. We take it on walks, to the mall, etc.

We also looked at the Vista and the Britax B-ready, but both are very wide to accommodate the rumble seat. The Cruz is narrower and much easier to navigate through tight spaces in my opinion. We have the Maxi Cosi Mico infant seat + adapter.

We store ours in the back of our car most of the time. Sometimes in our entryway or garage, too.

No Cruz, but we love the Mesa car seat. It's really compact and the car seat tech was really impressed by how it installs.

So now that I'm in the second tri (eee!), I'm starting to look at gear. My current stroller obsession is the UB Cruz. Clearly, I'm going to go try it out in the store, but I'd love some feedback, if you've got one!

So here are my questions:
*What do you like about it?
*Any dislikes?
*What other strollers did you look at? Why did you eventually choose the Cruz?
*Where do you primarily use it (errands, park, city, etc)?
*Do you find it difficult to store? Where do you keep it?
*Anything else I should know?

Some background on us:

We live in a small apartment in the city and only have one car. We'll be using our stroller outside a lot, and some of our sidewalks are pretty uneven. It also snows a lot here in the winter, though this (hopefully) won't be an issue right away, as I'm due in April We don't have a lot of storage room, so I that's why I shy away from the Vista (because of the bassinet). We likely will only get one stroller, and I'm not inclined to start with a snap-n-go, as I'd like to have a stroller with the option to take the baby out of the carseat. At this point, I'm also looking at the UB Mesa for an infant seat, because it can also fit in the Cruz frame.

Thanks so much!!!
