Kidding. I buy things when I find them on clearance or a really good sale like candles, lotion sets, tea towel sets, books, journals, etc. and keep them with my gift wrapping stuff. At Christmas time I always, always, always make sure to keep a stash of pre-wrapped gifts under the tree. I keep them there that way it's less obvious that I forgot. And I keep a stash of Christmas cards/gift tags and a pen under the tree in a basket so I can personalize the gift. My go-to extra Christmas gift is some kind of chocolate or candle with a gift card attached to it. My husband is godfather to his eldest son. He hasn't seen them in a while so he had gotten a present for his godson. Of course the younger brother asked for his gift as well but there wasn't any to give. He got so upset.
