I love River Road Recipies. It was put together by the Junior League of Baton Rouge in the 50s (I think that's when it was). There's lots of delicious stuff in there.
https://boards.hellobee.com/topic/do-you-have-any-cookbooks#post-463458 Sun, 23 Dec 2012 21:52:20 +0000 shopaholic 463458@https://boards.hellobee.com/
@MrsTiz: Those kinds of recipes are the best!
@hilsy85: Glad to hear your review! When I moved out my mom sent me with a box of written recipes that I grew up eating. I refer to them all the time! These days I do prefer to just find recipes online, but I can't resist a really beautiful cookbook if I come across one. My last 2 cookbook additions were: Momofuku & Sophie Dahl's Voluptuous delights. I want to get Smitten Kitchen next.
https://boards.hellobee.com/topic/do-you-have-any-cookbooks#post-462393 Sun, 23 Dec 2012 00:07:42 +0000 eeh 462393@https://boards.hellobee.com/
I collect them. My favorites are church or club fundraising ones with normal recipes and ingredients. I will always buy a fundraising cookbook because my favorite recipes have come f them.
https://boards.hellobee.com/topic/do-you-have-any-cookbooks#post-462390 Sun, 23 Dec 2012 00:02:45 +0000 lemondrop 462390@https://boards.hellobee.com/
I have America's Test Kitchen, the one I use alllllll the time!
