I had the tooth extracted then they put the implant into my jaw bone. Then a crown on top. </p> <p>@Greentea: Yeah, with this expense and my fertility treatments, I'm hoping to deduct all of these medical bills on my taxes. I have a bottom front tooth that has been growing in weird for a while. Dentist couldn't figure out why and they were fixing it temporarily for years. They think it was from mild chronic trauma from my top teeth or something. Finally, because of my braces, they decided a dental implant would be perfect opportunity to get it. </p> <p>I felt weird getting one at 30, but I hear it does happen. My friend told me about her son, he knocked his front two teeth out at 18 and had to get two implants in. </p>
