Boys: Nathan, Sebastian
Girls: Ava, Natalie

But I'm not sure they are contenders for baby#2.

milo's a really cute name. i like the name mila but rhymes with lila, not mila the russian sounding name (milla), which is how mila kunis pronounces it, i believe.

That's so funny you mentioned the name Milo! I just came across it this weekend and thought it'd be a nice boy's name if we were to have any future sons.

Yes we have left over names, but they aren't really leftover until baby deux. But we liked Liam and Ryan. But thinking of new names, those don't even go in our boy name list. Kinda funny, how that happens.

We had a boy name picked out for our daughter and my husband still wants to use it if we have a son in the future. We picked my daughter's name really early in the pregnancy, but then two weeks before she was born I thought about changing it to "Autumn" and my husband thought I was crazy and said to stick with the first name. (Not that he didn't like Autumn, but he couldn't believe I wanted different name when I loved my daughter's name so much!)

He was totally right. I think my pregnancy hormones were making me doubt the name or something. I can't imagine her name being Autumn, and I don't have any desire to name any future daughters Autumn. It was just some weird desire born out of nowhere!

We have always loved the name Calvin for a boy. We would still be "reserving" it if I didn't find out recently that it's my cousin's English name! (I always called him by his Korean name, so I didn't know.)

Milo was one of our choices for boy names! We liked that it sounded different and original and could work for a small boy and still be an adult name. We don't have any leftover names for girl though since Emma was our favorite.

We had Charlie almost two years ago, and are due for a baby girl this month. I've been trying to think of names for Charlie's sister, but so far... nothing. Then this week, a boy name hit me: Milo.

Milo was the boy in the Phantom Tollbooth, a great children's book:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Phantom_Tollbooth

Milo would have been a great complement to Charlie, who is the protagonist in a book by one of my favorite children's authors ever:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Charlie_and_the_Chocolate_Factory

Bee suggested feminizing it to Mila, which is becoming more common with Mila Kunis getting popular. But it doesn't quite feel the same. So I guess, back to the drawing boards. Milo will just be my leftover baby name. Unless the ultrasound was wrong, in which case Milo may be a contender!

Do you have any extra or leftover baby names?
