16 months out and my back has never been the same. I've always had back pain but I swear that pushing and being hunched for 2.5 hours did some permanent damage. I get a massage every 2-3 weeks and it's not even a luxury, it's a necessity.
My c section scar is still sorta numb and sometimes sore/irritated feeling.
ETA: I think this counts too - still have sensitivity/tenderness on both of my hips from doing PIO injections for a couple of months. Started out numb, then burning sensation and now it's just very tender almost like big bruises. My doc said it's likely nerve damage from the shots and will heal with time. That was 2 years ago!

I had hip pain for a year after giving birth. I also had vaginal numbness initially. Sensation returned a couple of months postpartum, much to my relief!

No major issues except for excess weight I'm having trouble getting off right in the belly area. It seems like it is hereditary as the other women in my family carry a lot of belly fat postpartum, but its so uncomfortable. I'd really like to get rid of it!!

My bladder no longer has sensation so I don't know when I need to pee. Literally no feeling. I had no idea that could happen. I went to a dr about it and she can't say for sure when it happened but my bladder most likely got very full at some point during delivery/after delivery (I had an epidural so wouldn't feel the need to go) which damaged the nerve endings. They can take a really long time to regenerate she said. If it's not better in 3 months I'm supposed to go back for further testing. I saw her at 8 weeks post partum. In the meantime I'm supposed to pee every 2 hours to avoid my bladder getting too full and recreating the problem. And I'm not supposed to drink many fluids within 2 hours of bedtime so my bladder won't be too full from me sleeping for many hours at a time-kind of a controlled dehydration. It's awful. Really hoping the nerves heal and I don't have to go in for further testing. I asked what it entails and it does not sound pleasant. And I pee myself a little when running/sneezing.

@simplyfelicity: Aw thanks! I was reading that other thread about how much weight people lost immediately and was getting sad haha. I only gained 30 so I think I expected more immediate results. I have 5 weeks before I go back to work and I am hoping I will be close to pre-preg weight by then!!

@MoonMoon: @LindsayLou: Wait. Hemorrhoids can be permanent?!?!?!?!   How/why?!?!

With DS, I had this particular muscle in my stomach, upper left side, that would cramp up into a really hard, tight, painful ball. No idea what caused it or why, but that sucker hurt for quite a few months!

I'm 9 months pp and pretty much free of symptoms. Only thing I can point to that has really changed is that I used to be freezing all the time and now I'm hot all the time. It's so, so bizarre to feel warm when others are cold. I've been the opposite my whole life.

ugh, so many.. I have nerve damage from the episiotomy, which is improvement from the initial trapped nerve and residual granulation. I also had diastasis recti and it's much better than it was the first year PP but my abdominal muscle wall will never be the same.
I suspect I have an abdominal hernia as well but I've been told it's not a big deal and if it causes problems, can be fixed with surgery.
I have some weird allergies and sensitivities since giving birth (4 years ago!), too..
Pregnancy did a number on me!

@wrkbrk: 15 lbs at only 7 weeks out is "great!" I would have wished I was that close to my prepreg weight at that point! I read somewhere (kellymom, I think) that a lot of weight loss happens after 12 weeks.

I broke my tailbone during delivery and it still occasionally hurts if I sit too long or in an uncomfortable position. After long days at the office I tend to use the seat heaters in my car for a little relief! DS is 16 months.

I'm only 3 weeks out, but I still need colace (and don't always remember to take it. Ouch).

I have fine hair so the hair loss hits me hard! But I healed quickly both times overall so I shouldn't complain.

I feel very fortunate to have healed fast and quickly from two L&Ds. And that I have too much hair, so I don't readily notice the monstrosity that is pp hair loss.

I do however have carpal tunnel following both pregnancies/labor&delivery. Doesn't seem to be as bad this time though.

Any pp pains/symptoms for you?
