It is sort of a weird squeaking sound.... I also do that blanket thing. I have a blanket around me constantly (like a burrito), even when it is the middle of summer. I can't sleep unless I'm under more than just a sheet either. I need a quilt or duvet so I can feel the weight of it.</p> <p>Also I love to touch everything when I'm shopping for clothes. I just love the feeling of a variety of fabrics. I have diagnoses of both Aspergers and auditory processing disorder, although my APD is not the type most people think of if they know anything about it. I don't like anything wet on my hands or face so washing my face/hands or going swimming is torture. Having anything touch my neck is also torture, so I can never grow my hair out! And it really makes me much happier to have the right amount of pressure on my skin so I'm often wrapped up in a heavy blanket like a burrito! I also hate going barefoot in places like hotel rooms and any bathroom other than my own.</p> <p>I'll do a non-negative one: I have a thing about rubbing soft cotton sheets / blankets between my fingers. It's like a compulsion... once I find a good, smooth spot (it has to be 2 layers with no wrinkles) i rub it between my fingers or between my palms. I cannot stand how they sound or feel. I'm also very sensitive to sounds and I can't eat alot foods because of there texture.
