It's part of his routine and he likes it. Now the 5 month old is lucky to get once a week 😂. DD2, who's 2.5 months old, gets one every couple of days after big sister goes to bed (and every now and then gets to be in her baby tub in with DD1, but it's huge so not ideal). When the baby can sit up on her own, they'll have one together every night before bed.</p> <p>ETA: Especially in winter, we don't wash/scrub/use soap every night. Two afternoons per week we use grandparent care and they are a little more inconsistent about the bath. I almost never bother with it if they have skipped it. And we usually give him one bath over the weekend.</p> <p>It is definitely not part of a "routine" though. Takes too long. If we are trying to leave the house early I will give her a bath the night before. She gets pretty grubby and tends to need a thorough cleaning every single day.
