Yep. 100 books. Already at 69. Might have to up it.

Also doing the book riot read harder challenge this year so I branch out and not spend the year reading YA dystopian fiction.

Taking it easier this year with 20 books. I read 51 books last year, 1 above my goal.

No goals. I love reading so much and read so quickly that I often have to force myself to slow down so that I don't spend too much money on books or stay up too late reading. I'd guess I read 1-2 books per week on average anyway, and more than that when I get on a roll.

Wow! My BFF did that last year. It was intense!

She and I have a short list of books that we're going to read at the same time this year, but no real goals other than that.

Good luck!

Not really. I keep a list of the ones I've read, but I don't set an annual number goal or tally them up. All books are not equal, so it seems strange to me to give them all the same "weight" as a matter of goal-setting.

I do try to set aside a certain amount of time for reading every day or every other day. And I have a list of books I want to get from the library and a shelf of books I own that I definitely want to read/finish/read again. I guess my "goals" are loose ones.

Also, I feel like all the books I read to LO "count" (if we're tallying :silly: )! Just about everything we're reading these days is meant to be enjoyed by adults too.

I haven't set a goal of how many, but I set myself a goal to keep a running list of everything I've read this year. So far I'm at 36.

Yes! I'm obsessed with keeping my goodreads updated. I set a goal of 20 for this year and I'm at 7 but I just started about 4 weeks ago. Hoping to pass 20, I'm averaging a book every 5 days right now.

I set a goal of 52 books for 2016. Might be hard to hit considering I didn't read any books January-April! I was just super into podcasts, but I'm getting back into reading.

Do you set reading goals for the year?
