I was considering signing up for cable for when I go on maternity leave, but Time Warner has a monopoly in my building and their prices are absolutely insane. $100 to set it up, and the cheapest packages start at $150/month. It wasn't worth the extra almost 100 bucks a month for just me (since DH travels so much) to watch a random episode of The Real World (or some equally awful reality show).
