Yep. We bought a bunch of jumping beans seperates from Kohls for like $3-$5 per piece that she uses most days for daycare. They often get messy and I don't mind ruining them. Nice stuff gets saved for when I'm going to see her in it.

Yep, I buy ugly Old Navy clothes to get dirty in. They also have a line of baby basics, can't remember the name. I designated those as his daycare clothes. When he comes home in those, I know to check his cubby the next day for the dirty clothes I sent him there in.

ETA: I just cleaned through his 9 month clothes to transition to the 12 month clothes. I found some Gerber onesies that now resides in our diaper bags for changes.

Yes. She basically has three levels of clothes

- Play clothes for when we are getting messy at home
- Daycare clothes (presentable but comfy and ok if they get dirty)
- Nice clothes for church, going out to dinner.

The only thing I consider true "daycare clothes" are the meh things I get as gifts that I leave in her cubby as back-ups. We do have a couple fancy-ish type dresses for, say, weddings or other big events, but most of her daily/weekend clothes are the same. I just don't sweat it if they get dirty -- most stains come out with some combination of soaking & washing.

Yes!!! We only have a few nice outfits for Wagon Jr... everything else is daycare clothes. Usually I stock up when there are sales at BabyGap, Old Navy, or Children's Place.

Sort of, when DD was in daycare I had a set of clothes that I would leave at the daycare. If she needed to change into them it was easy to make sure they went back because they were mostly knit stuff. I never really cared about what she started out in, in the morning though.

Bottoms I don't care as much about because they don't get them dirty. But I usually send the kids to daycare in tops that I don't care if they get ruined. They always get paint, food, stuff on them, so I don't want them to ruin nice clothes. They wear nicer clothes on the weekends!

What about you?
