Both kids slept in it for a good portion of time between 0-3 months. I'd rock them to sleep in my arms and then put them in there with the vibrations on. Sometimes, if they woke up early, I could rock it with the vibrations on and they'd go back to sleep. We ended up getting it because LO liked the one at daycare so much. For us, it's replaced the Rock'n'play because LO has gotten so big. We take the rocker into the kitchen, in the bathroom when showering, even put it out on the balcony. I like that I can hang her toys off of it and when she pulls on them, it moves the rocker. It's definitely better for older babies though. I think she was over 3 months before she really got into it. If you can return it, I bought ours for $5 on craigslist. We used it the most from 2.5 months to 10 months. She also loved the vibrations in the seat and took many naps in it.
