Yes, floor length curtains and some furniture (it doesn't actually touch the baseboard). Ours is either steam or water, so I'm not worried about fire hazard. I do have to pull up the curtains because otherwise all the heat will build up behind them and not in the room. I'd be concerned about damage to furniture from the heat, too, but the closest piece is a steel table so it's probably fine.

Yes; but we don't have the furniture touching the baseboard.

We just move the furniture into the room a bit so it's not right on top of the vent. So annoying!

I grew up with baseboard heat, and when we turned them on, we pulled any furniture near them away from the wall. But they were used for secondary heat (we mostly heated with a wood stove), so it wasn't like that for the entire winter. And they were electric

This is why baseboard and rads are such a pain!

Yes, we do. Furniture and in some cases window treatments that reach the floor. The baseboard heating that we have is water running through the system, they're not electric.

No, too scary! But they were just usually one per room except for a big room that had one under each window (4 for the room). I would be okay with high raised furniture like a bed that leaves lots of space around it.

Part of me thinks I shouldn't but most of the baseboards heat are are at least 2 sides of every room.
