My bff's boys and we see them weekly! They live down the street from us, even when we lived in different cities we saw them one/month probably. We are very close to them and it's a high priority to us to be very close to them. My first godchild is my aunt's daughter, but I was only in my teens. I think she choose me to avoid hurt feelings with other members of the family/friends. The rest are my friend's children. </p> <p>One is all grown now, she just turned 18.<br /> Another is turning 18 in a few months.<br /> A teenage boy that's 16.<br /> An 11 year old boy.<br /> And the youngest is a sweet 5 yr old boy. </p> <p>I used to do a way better job keeping in touch with them. He is horrible at keeping in touch. He looks at his selection as a God father as a competitive sport. "I beat so and so, I'm the favorite friend!" I always ask him if the kids know who he is when he shows up.
